Technology Consulting Partner

Amit Kumar Singh

13+ years in industrial data, AI, and automation. Former Accenture and EY. Based in Dubai, working across GCC, India, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, and North America.

Background

Amit Kumar Singh leads MyData Insights, a specialist data, AI, and automation consultancy serving manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, and supply chain organisations across the GCC, India, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, and North America. With over 13 years of experience - including senior roles at Accenture and EY - he has worked across the full spectrum of industrial data challenges: from fragmented ERP landscapes and manual reporting cycles to AI-driven demand forecasting and real-time production analytics.

His practice is built on one consistent observation: most organisations have invested significantly in ERP, Power BI, and cloud infrastructure, but lack the data engineering foundation that makes those investments actually work. Amit's focus is building that foundation - Microsoft Fabric data platforms, SAP ByDesign and S/4HANA integrations, and governed semantic layers - before layering AI and automation on top. He has delivered projects across Hollandia Dairy, Korpack, Novartis-aligned supply chain programmes, and industrial IoT deployments spanning multiple continents.

Based in Dubai, Amit works directly with Operations Directors, IT Heads, and GMs - not through account managers or junior teams. His newsletter, Next Level Data, covers practitioner perspectives on data platform engineering, AI in operations, and digital transformation for industrial leaders.

Areas of Focus

What Amit works on

Data Platform Engineering

Designing and building unified data layers on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks - connecting ERP, WMS, MES, and sales systems into a single governed platform.

Manufacturing Analytics

OEE, production yield, quality tracking, and shift-level performance reporting for discrete and process manufacturing environments.

Supply Chain AI

Demand forecasting, replenishment signal models, and stockout prediction for FMCG, packaging, and food distribution operations.

Power BI & Microsoft Fabric

Enterprise Power BI architecture - semantic models, Direct Lake, row-level security, and workspace governance at scale.

SAP Integration

Extracting and operationalising data from SAP ByDesign and SAP S/4HANA into modern analytics platforms - without disrupting live ERP operations.

Digital Transformation Strategy

Maturity assessments, technology selection, business cases, and phased roadmaps for operations and IT leaders embarking on data-driven transformation.

Engagement Model

How I work

01

Direct engagement - no account managers

You work with me from the first call through delivery sign-off. I do not hand projects to juniors once the sale is closed. If we agree to work together, I am in the work.

02

Discovery before recommendations

I will not propose a solution until I understand your systems, your team, your data quality, and what you are actually trying to fix. That takes a proper discovery - typically 2 to 4 hours of structured conversation before anything is scoped.

03

Fixed-scope engagements where possible

I prefer to define a clear scope, a fixed timeline, and measurable outcomes before we start. This forces clarity on both sides and keeps delivery accountable.

04

Honest about what will and will not work

If your data quality is too poor to support AI, I will tell you. If your team does not have capacity to maintain what we build, I will flag it. The goal is a result that lasts - not a project that looks good at go-live.
